FAQ's

WHAT IS PERMANENT JEWELRY?

Chains are custom fit to each individual client to create a unique piece of jewelry. The chain is micro welded together to create a clasp-less piece of forever jewelry.

CAN I TAKE IT OFF?

Our jewelry is micro welded together and not meant to take on and off daily. However, we understand that life gets in the way. We do offer clasps that can be added to your custom fit jewelry incase it needs to be removed frequently.

WHERE CAN I GET ONE?

We are located at SKM collection which can be found at 419 Worcester Rd, Framingham, Ma 01701. We also do pop-ups and private parties so make sure to check our instagram and see if we are holding a pop up near you! You can also book an appointment online!

WHAT IF MY PERMANENT JEWELRY BREAKS?

Because our chains are either 14K gold filled or sterling silver they should not break. However, if your jewelry does break no worries! Save the chain and bring it back to us. We can repair the piece for a nominal fee of $10.

WILL I HAVE PROBLEMS GOING THROUGH THE AIRPORT?

Not at all! Airport security does not require you to remove any type of jewelry so you can take your permanent jewelry with you on all of your adventures. It will NOT set off any metal detectors so you can enter concerts and other events with no issues.

DOES THE ZAP HURT?

Nope! The process is completely painless. Once the jewelry is measured to your liking, some heat is applied only to the metal jump ring. There can be a small spark but no need to worry ,that is all apart of the fun! No heat will touch the skin.

CAN I TAKE IT OFF IN THE FUTURE?

Yes! If you need to take your jewelry off for any reason you can cut the jump ring with some household scissors or wire cutters. Once you are ready to have your jewelry put back on, bring the chain to us and we can re zap your jewelry together!

HOW OLD DO YOU NEED TO BE TO GET ONE?

We will weld anyone over the age of 13! We do require that anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have parental consent.
